The staff at black cat are helpful friendly and really know there stuff!They are very successful in their field because of the devotion they put into it!If youre a landlord you cant afford not to let them manage your property knowing it will be in safe hands!Its a small fee to pay for the peace of mind they offer!Highly recommend.
Awful customer service, complained about their complete incompetence regarding managing a property and dealing with a fault. The response was well you are out of your contract period, so you can give a months notice to leave the property Shocking response to a complaint! How does that attitude benefit a Landlord or Tenant?
I would love to share my son's experience with this company so here goes. My son and grandson who's 5, needed a property after the mother of he's son passed away,he found a property with black cat, they wanted 1 month's rent,1 month's deposit , fine, my son had to produce wage slips,bank statements,and proof of working tax credits. He produced everything apart from a dwp letter of tax credit award, even though this was on he's bank statements, so they asked for a 1000 deposit?. Anyway he moved in, after a week or so he's electric blew, we phoned black cat am they said they would get an electrician there, we waited till late pm and rang again still no electrician, considering this property is all electric, it meant no lights,heating,cooking etc. I got a qualified electrician to come and fix the problem to our cost, black cats electrician called nearly 50 hours later, I asked for compensation but no was there answer, Disgusting. My son has now been offered a new life abroad which he is taking, he asked if he terminated he's contract 2 months early could he get any money back,, again a blatant no, this company are a disgrace beware, the property was in a state of repairs of which we asked to be fixed, they said no it don't need fixing, when we did complain about repairs they offered my son to leave and get all he's deposit back, my son didn't have anywhere else to live so stayed on, this company needs looking into, they are a disgrace to the letting field.
