Our second visit here, the last being about 4 years ago.As good as we remembered, a lovely welcome and we were sorry not to have been able to stay longer.Our 3yr old grandson joined us this time and had a wonderful time, exploring the small maze, feeding potatoes to the pigs, collecting leaves etc.Facilities are clean and well maintained, pitches are well spaced and a good size.Looking forward to going again sometime.
Fantastic. This place is beautiful and really well equipped. Great kitchen for washing up. Fridge also. Every plot (at least the electric ones - Ive not stayed in the others) has its own water which is very convenient. Also every plot has its own fire pit which is great. Staff seemed lovely. Cant wait to go back.Oh by the way. You can park and leave your car on the plot. I know campsites that dont allow this so thought it would be helpful to know.
Fantastic camp site, very well looked after, clean and tidy. The pitches are a great size and many of them are tucked away and quite private. There is one larger, more open area where we were and even that seems spacious and private. All pitches have a fire pit and the logs that they sell in the on site shop are reasonable. The toilet and shower facilities are always clean and the on site shop is an added bonus.
Great little campsite. Lovely pitches surrounded by tress and woods. Kids loved the on site pig. Would have been 5 stars but there are only 3 showers (1 being disabled) for the whole site which meant some waiting around in the morning for a wash.
Just had two wonderful days at the Secret Garden Touring Park. Even though it rained most of the time, it was a lovely little holiday. Our pitch was quite private and a great location with trees surrounding us. Perfect for children, who loved the pig and the maze and met other children to play with. Hopefully some chickens will be there next time we come. The showers and loos were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Just bought some cider made there to take away with us. We will definitely be back!
